Located in Japan's Shikotsu Toya National Park, the Hotel Kawanami offers
reasonably-priced accommodations in a beautiful setting. The hotel is
situated on the shore of Lake Toya close to many attractions. In addition to
the lake (with water sports such as water skiing, motor boating, and fishing),
the hotel is near two active volcanoes (Showa-Shinzan and Usu), the Pacific
Ocean, a golf course, and ski areas. From the end of April until October 31,
Toya-Onsen puts on a nightly fireworks show that you can view from the
Rotemburo (outdoor hot springs bath). The Hotel Kawanami is a wonderful
place to visit.

JR station. The sky in Tokachi, Fascinating and wide, In the bitter cold
winter, even one quiet and deep breath, holds the happiness of living on this
land. Come and realize how wide is the sky in Tokachi.

The price for accommoaation is very affordable. We Charge 3,200 yen /
night (YH member), 4,200 yen / night (non-member)*these prices do not
include tax*, 600 yen for breakfast,
1,000 yen for dinner
Facilities wooden building with a dining room, bathrooms, and bedrooms.
There are 8 rooms: 6 rooms for 3 people and 2 rooms for 4 people. All have
single beds.
We serve healthy home-cooked meals with no additives.

Lodge Hakuba
Located in the foothills of the Japanese Alps, we are surrounded by the nature of the Hakuba region.

You’ll feel at home with us in all four seasons of the year.
We have prepared 8 western style rooms, and 8 Japanese style rooms. The 16 rooms can accommodate up to 60 people.

Complete with a dining room, bar/lounge, lobby, coin laundry, small shop, parking lot, and a rental ski and warm room for the skiers.

During winter, skiing is thoroughly enjoyed on the northern Alps at Hakuba 47 ski area, Iwatake ski area, and Tsugaike ski area all only 5-10 minutes away by car. The nearest ski resort is Happo-one Ski Resort.

In addition to this there is an Olympic cross country course called “Snow Herb” only 10 minutes away by car. Of course, cross country skiing can also be enjoyed in the back yard of Lodge Hakuba.

In summer, you can enjoy taking a cable car up to the higher altitudes and feel as if you are walking in the sky. When you arrive at the top you can see Happo Pond and all of the beautiful natural flowers, the perpetual snow caps. You can also enjoy the mountain biking, paragliding, and tennis.

There are outdoor hot springs to bathe in and restore your fatigue.

Ueda YH opened in 1981, with a goal to have a close relationship with our
guests.

We have six bed male dorms, four bed female dorms, and Japanese tatami
style mixed dorms for 3 people.(with Futons)

Prices for YH members is 3040 yen, and for nonmembers is 5720 yen, Tax
included.

We provide a delicious breakfast for 630 yen, and dinner is 1050 yen.

There is a cozy Japanese style common room where guest often stay up
chatting until they go to bed.

It is a quiet environment. In the summer it is cool and comfortable. You can
enjoy a house with rich green scenery, and traditional Japanese style
decorations. There are famous historic and sightseeing points, hot springs,
and fantastic sceneries.
Also there are walking trails, and a temple built in the Kamakura age.

The town has many hot springs (traditional Japanese public baths) only 10-20
minutes walking. These public baths are 150yen, YH members-120 yen. They
are open from 6am to 10pm, so you can enjoy a morning OR evening bath.

There is also a place good for relaxation at the ??Sosenkak??public bath. For
220 yen you can come and go as you please all day long.
